Hello! I'm Korina and I am so excited you're here to learn about me!

At 29 years young, I am a proud mother of two wonderful boys. Born and raised in Salinas, California, I am a passionate social justice advocate, dedicated to serving, learning, and growing with my community.
Since July 2023, I have worked at the Veterans Transition Center in Marina, CA as a case manager with the Transformative Reentry Program.
I recently completed my Master of Social Work Degree (MSW) at California State University, Monterey Bay. In 2022, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Social Work.
While some may say that my "official" career is just beginning, I am confident to say that I have always lived and embodied, with pride, the ethics and values of a true social worker.
